MY APPROACH

I believe therapy is a powerful tool in the ongoing process of liberation.  My role as a deeply relational therapist is to join you as a compassion-forward companion, to explore the stories that have shaped your worldview and lived experiences.  Along the way, we’ll account for the systemic barriers that hinder access to rest and restoration of mind, body, and spirit.  Together, we’ll clarify your desires for the future of your story and explore intentional steps toward embodying that reality.

This practice is so dear to my heart.  In the nightmare-ish realities that we are currently resisting and surviving, mutual community care and support is fundamental for helping one another see tomorrow.  Each of us has our own unique gifts and skills to offer.  Compassionate care through therapy is mine.

My approach to the therapeutic process is collaborative, trusting your knowledge of self, your experience and your perspective as a guide for the journey to highlight your strengths and indicate areas for deeper exploration.

I have walked with Queer and BIPOC folks coping with the impacts of anxiety, depression, and trauma on their daily life.  Likewise, I’ve supported folks exploring identity development and spirituality, as well as embodying neuro-diverse realities like life with ADHD.  I also have worked with couples navigating various stages, dating, marriage, family planning and contemplating break-up/divorce.

I look forward to partnering with you on your healing journey.
