MY APPROACH

I believe most of what you desire is attainable if you are listening to your core, heart-centered self. I would like to accompany you in learning about yourself, the way you would a best friend or loved one. In my strengths-based approach, we confront all your parts with both passion and compassion. As a somatic practitioner with training in both Somatic Experiencing and Sex therapy, I take a body-centered approach to accompany you with building the connection between your body and your mind. The hope is that you will be able to align your behaviors with your values and beliefs in order to feel the true success, defined on your own terms over social expectations of you.

I have a deep passion for working with BIPOC and marginalized communities, especially those in the Queer SWANA diaspora, to step from making decisions out of survival to developing enough trust in yourself to thrive. Our work may be slow, but with the somatic approach I hope to help you navigate your choices and life in a way that stays with you. I center a decolonial approach to treatment and value our relationship in the room just as much as your relationships outside of them. While traveling and adventure is necessary in our development, let’s co-create a life you don’t feel like running away from. One that prioritizes play and pleasure while we navigate grief, and one that aligns what you believe in with what you are acting upon.
